ABOUT

Ramped is an exciting project bringing alternative sports like BMX, Skateboarding, Rollerblading & Scootering to you

How we work

Engaging, Communicating & Promoting

Communities

Ramped provides positive activities for young people who are calling for an alternative sports facility within their community and is a cheaper option to the creation of a permanent provision. We also offer coaching at existing facilities or can aid in the consultation process where the need for a permanent provision has been recognised.

Users

Ramped supply a fun and challenging experience with participants able to have a say in the shape of the area they are to ride, whilst developing skills from experienced and enthusiastic riders. Staff are keen riders and are able to point out some of the tricks and pitfalls achievable whilst using ramps and staying safe.

Commercial

Ramped is able to deliver corporate activity for companies, and is looking to develop partnerships with businesses as a means to achieving a sustainable future. Such activity might include the delivery of sessions as part of a bike festival or the development of sponsorship links with relevant businesses.

Community Partnerships

  • We have booked these guys each year for 5 sessions and they have pitched up, worked like Trojans to get the ramps out in time for the mass of young people who have been waiting around for at least an hour before the starting time. They talk health and safety, they check ramps thoroughly as they have been trained to do, they make sure everyone has consent and wears a helmet. Then they ride!!! But the best thing about them is they can communicate with young people! Book them they are worth it.

  • We can’t thank RAMPED enough for your professionalism and attitude towards the whole day. The young people absolutely loved RAMPED! From initial enquiry to delivery of session RAMPED were excellent. The biggest compliment we can pay you is that the young people were very disappointed to see you go!
